A trip to fu-sho mountain
last weekend my family took a trip to fu-sho mountain (approx. 500 km drive from taipei city) . we drove along route 7 ,passing by the famous attraction , li-shan where we visited almost a decade ago. this time, not only my husband but my two boys joined. apparently they made this trip much more fun and meaningful and ....unique...
one of the best parts in this trip was to see the mountain view. we arrived there at about 4 p.m. soon after check-in, we went up to see the sunset and mountain clouds. to watch whole view helped somehow to shift my focus from work.just at one quick moment, i felt the stillness inside and surrounding me. another best part in the trip was fun made by my two boys. kids were so excited to see so many apple trees all around. without any my attention, they collected many fallen apples in the toy bag. all of a sudden, a security guard appeared. they thought they might be punished so they quickly threw out those apples in the bag before the guy approached. with four apples left, kids sealed the bag and left it on the corner.i felt quilty at the same time...just tried to figure out a way out ...the little one looked innocently to the angry security guard and pulled me said " mom, would you please help me to handle my bag...i forgot it somewhere?" what a sneaky little guy....i was pulled to the corner and let him pick up the bag...he ran extremely fast to protect his apple friends to the car...the last interesting thing in the trip was my contact lense. i forgot to bring my contact lense with me. hence ,the second day, i was almost blind for everything.i urged my husand to find a eyeglasses shop ...guess what...couldn't find one until we drove 3 hours...
