In memory of Cathy's Dad -the General Yeh

cathy has been my best pal since the junior high school. her father was a very respectful navy general who was very knowlegable,warm-hearted, and young-minded as well as thoughful to everyone he knew. he treated us like a god father. while cathy moved to seatle for years, gloria(cathy, gloria and i was iron three since junior high school) and i just like his daughters calling him for greetings or sometimes out for gatherings. while i were in ny, i still remembered to call him in every chinese new year. but this new year he was unable to go out with us for celebration. he left us so fast in only two weeks after the doc diagnozed his having cancer. the fact hit cathy's family so greatly ,especially her mom. i will not forget the day gloria and i visited him at the hosital. that was my very first time stepping into cancer floor. cathy's father was suffered from digesting. without eating any food, he was unable to take any chemical treatment. many family friends ,peers, and his subordinates flew into the hosiptal to see him. all of us so looked forward to a miracle to come. cathy's father was hard to express while we visited him. from that scene, gloria was unable to manage her tears. same to cathy's mom and cathy.

i learned to be helpful ,not to be attacked by personal emotions during the whole event. since i just believe cathy's dad must have transformed to his next life where we shall meet in different format. hope uncle yeh to remain peace and joyful in his next journey. may St. Maria bless cathy's family , especially for her mom a better recovery from the impact. (Note: Cathy's family was cathelic believers, my grand parents, ching's grandma too despite i'm a buddhist)
